At Buy Afrik, we take every precaution to ensure that your frozen and perishable products arrive fresh and in excellent condition. Please read the following shipping terms before placing your order.

Shipping Information
Frozen and perishable food items are shipped in insulated packaging with cold packs designed to help maintain safe temperatures during transit.
Most frozen orders are processed and shipped within 2–3 business days.
We strongly recommend selecting the fastest available shipping option during checkout to help ensure product quality.
Express and overnight shipping may be available for an additional charge, depending on your location.
We generally do not recommend shipping methods that require more than 3 business days in transit.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email.
Shipping Schedule
To reduce the risk of packages sitting in transit over the weekend, frozen and perishable orders are typically shipped on:
Monday
Tuesday
Wednesday
Orders placed later in the week may be held until the next available shipping day.
Delivery
Delivery dates are estimates provided by the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed by Buy Afrik.
Shipping delays caused by weather, natural disasters, carrier issues, customs inspections, or other events beyond our control may occur.
Packages may be delivered without a signature if permitted by the shipping carrier.
Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the package promptly.
For apartment buildings, condominiums, gated communities, or business addresses, Buy Afrik is not responsible for packages once they have been delivered to the address provided.
Upon Delivery
Immediately upon receiving your order:
Inspect your package.
Refrigerate or freeze all perishable products immediately.
Do not leave your package outdoors or in direct sunlight.
Our insulated packaging is designed to maintain safe food temperatures for approximately 72 hours under normal shipping conditions, although transit conditions may vary.
Some products may arrive partially thawed while still remaining within safe food handling temperatures. This does not necessarily affect product quality or safety.
Damaged or Unsafe Products
If your frozen or perishable items arrive damaged or you believe they are no longer safe for consumption, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Please provide:
Your order number
A description of the issue
Clear photographs of the packaging and products
Photos or videos supporting your claim
Failure to notify us within 24 hours may limit our ability to investigate or process your request.
Shipping Liability
Buy Afrik carefully packages all frozen and perishable products before shipment.
Once your order has been accepted by the shipping carrier, factors outside our control—including weather, carrier delays, incorrect delivery addresses, or unattended deliveries—may affect product condition.
Accordingly:
Buy Afrik is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier.
Buy Afrik is not responsible for packages left unattended after delivery.
Buy Afrik is not responsible for spoilage resulting from customers failing to retrieve packages promptly.
Refunds or replacements for frozen or perishable products will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Shipping Charges
Shipping rates are calculated during checkout based on:

Environmental Responsibility
We encourage customers to help reduce waste by:
Reusing insulated coolers and ice packs whenever possible.
